WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
The CCS crew uses Hydrophobic Foam Injection (grout) to repair a crack
This project entailed repairing a crack in the concrete floor of a nutrient enrichment tank at a wastewater facility. CCS was informed the crack was 1/4" in height but discovered the crack was actually 2-1/2" in height.
As ground water was constantly flowing, CCS decided the best plan of action would be to use a proprietary crack filler to restrict the flow of ground water, then inject grout.
The approximate length of repairs was 150LF. After completion, there was no inflow of water.
