Standard Link-Pipe's sleeve is made of stainless steel expandable cover covered with sealing material. For brittle pipes, our sleeves have limit straps to prevent over-expansion of the Installation pressure. In flexible pipe situations, when sometimes exact I.D. of the host pipe is unknown, our sleeves carry a Variable Diameter Locking Mechanism that is designed to have +/- 1/2" of tolerance.
