The CCS crew used several of their core procedures to replace a failed water line which included HDPE pipe, copper pipe and two new 4" valves.

Pipe bursting was required since heavy equipment would put excessive pressure on a 14' concrete retaining wall that was adjacent to the work area.  

 

The new pipe sections were joined using Pipe Fusion techniques.  Air or "Soft" Excavation was used to expose the water service and water, gas and communication lines in the same area.  Fortunately, all utilities were under the water line.​
